Some time ago, Facebook had THAT many users, that if the social network were a country, it would have been the third largest one in the world. Now, the website has got the equal amount of users as the internet population did in 2004, the year that Facebook was found: a whopping 800 million users! To give you an idea, that number equals the population of Europe and Russia together.

Pingdom compared the actual country population with the Facebook population. It stated that Facebook is 2.5 times the size of the United States when it comes to active users and 80 times the size of Belgium.
