This is how Porsche takes care of its fans. To celebrate the one-millionFacebook likes, Porschecarved the names of 27.000 Facebookfans on a special model – Porsche 911 GT3 R hybrid race car – displayed at the Porsche Museum Stuttgart, Germany.

They set up a Facebook page a few months earlierwhere people could join:

“Although we are witness to passionate customers and fans every day, it is neat to set another Porsche milestone by growing to over 1,000,000 strong on Facebook,” said Josh Cherfoli, online relationship and marketing manager for Porsche Cars North America, “It’s an excellent opportunity to help us connect with our fan base, and we thank them all for sharing our passion.”

There is also a special ‘Thank you a million times’ – page where you can find out where your name is carved on the car, if you’re one of the lucky ones!

In the mean time Porsche already has 1.355.872 likes on its Facebook page.
