Why we are fans of Kodak & Madlen Nicolaus
Today and tomorrow @samberteloot and myself are at LeWeb conference in Paris to get inspired and to stay up to date on the evolutions in the field of technology & social media.
LeWeb is the #1 European Internet event, where 2500 entrepreneurs, leaders, investors, bloggers, journalists gather together for 2 days.
Apart from fueling our inspiration, we also scheduled 2 interviews. First one was planned today, with Madlen Nicolaus, Social Media Manager of Kodak, EAMER.
Madlen is a true pioneering, and above all warm personality. We had a very good talk together on how Kodak is approaching social media & conversations. From what we learned we can only say Kodak is setting the standard for other companies. An engaging example we all can learn from.
The entire interview is taped on camera, and will be posted as soon as we have done the editing.
Funny note: we were not able to record quality audio with our own camera, so Madlen was so kind to let us try the Kodak Playtouch for the interview. A great device! She even gave us the opportunity to experiment with the PlayTouch camera during the whole event. Now that’s how you start conversations.
Sam and myself became fans of Kodak today, thanks to Madlen. And since we are nice guys as well, we brought a copy of The Conversation Manager for her:
Tomorrow we will talk to Gary Vaynerchuk (@garyvee, video blogger, co-owner and director of operations of a wine retail store, and an author and public speaker on the subjects of social media, brand building and e-commerce).
And we will also post our general learnings from LeWeb of course, so stay tuned for more.
