200 million tweets a day
Halfway through 2011, Twitter-users are now sending 200 million tweets a day. In january 2009, that amount came down to 2 million tweets a day, one year ago (june 2010) Twitter users posted 65 million a day. 200 million tweets a day, that is…. a lot of tweeting! And a lot of exploding growth out there at Twitter.
