Singularity Hub

This one’s a true classic. It’s the science and technology blog and news network of the legendary Singularity University, that was founded in 2008 by Peter Diamandis and Ray Kurzweil at the NASA Research Park in California. It features the very latest and most radical trends in robotics, biotech, longevity, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, blockchain, and many more exciting subjects. The blog also features a video and debate forum for its users to watch videos and interact with each other. This one’s not just about news, but about high level vision.

This is a go-to platform for those who want the latest insights about science and technology trends. Their news articles, infographics and videos cover many riveting themes like artificial intelligence, the future of society, robots and machines, VR, enhanced humans, healthcare, energy and everything that can give you a glimpse of what’s to come. It might sound a lot like Singularity Hub at first, but Futurism is much more about short and snackable news and trends, and a lot less about opinion and vision.

World Economic Forum

The World Economic Forum (WEF) was founded in 1971 in order to improve the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas. Now, those of who are familiar with my vision, know that I believe that brands will need to climb up to a higher level in the coming years: they should not just fulfil the ‘basic’ needs and wants of customers, but also address their hopes and dreams as well as their fears about for instance the climate and the environment. I believe that all the top content and inspiration that you find on the WEC website – about the 4th Industrial Revolution, geostrategy, economics and the environment – will be crucial for companies in the coming years.

The London Business School Review

This is the blog of the London Business School, where my friend and Business Partner Peter Hinssen is a Visiting Lecturer. This high-level thought leadership platform will bring you fresh ideas and opinions from world-leading business experts about a broad range of topics like AI, economics, entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, marketing and people management.

Andreessen Horowitz

Founded in 2009 by Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz, Andreessen Horowitz (also known as “a16z”) is a venture capital firm in Silicon Valley, California that backs bold entrepreneurs building the future through technology.  The type of content featured on their blog – articles, videos and podcasts – is a not just a token of the type of companies that they are investing in but goes beyond that. This is the platform I go to when I need fresh insights and ideas about software, cloud computing, biotech, digital therapeutics, computational medicine, HR, innovation curves, China, open source, autonomous cars or company culture. They seem to literally tackle every last facet of innovation, and in a very profound and unique manner.

Blake Morgan

Blake Morgan is a customer experience futurist, author and guest lecturer at Columbia University. She is a fervent blogger on the impact of technology on customer behaviour and experience in Forbes. This is a great place if you want to read up on awesome case studies from some of the most celebrated brands like AT &T, Trader Joe’s, NVIDIA, Walmart, McDonalds, Amazon, IBM, Apple and many more.

Now, I know that I’m biased in the matter, but I want to conclude with a shout out to my company nexxworks’ blog, which features articles on all the subjects that are important for those corporates who want to kickstart their innovation: ranging from China innovation, company culture, future of work, how to organize innovation, platform ecosystems to disruptive technologies and leadership.
